Have Ball Gown, Will Travel

I made this princess to fit inside a fairy tale shadowbox that I'll soon be selling in my Etsy shop, but she's too cute not to show off early. One of the most challenging things about making these dolls is choosing the color combination, from the cloth flower petals I use for the frocks, to the bodice color, to the different shades in her hair. I especially like the colors used here, rich jewel tones. Can't you see her finding her way through a forest? Sure she's in a ball gown but fairy tale heroines tend to dress in seasonally inappropriate clothing.
