Snow Ballerina

This little one is about to be coaxed inside a hollow glass ornament. I decided to make a special ballerina for the winter season. Her frilly tulle ballet skirt is dusted with a shade of glitter that at first appears clear but when you look at it carefully, is actually a shade of electric violet. This photograph doesn't capture this effect fully, but this color glitter is exactly like that magical shade of electric voiolet that snow on the ground gets when the moonlight bounces off of it in the early evening.
